While enjoying the Caribbean Rum Tasting with Walter, we learned he would be teaching the Cocktail Master Class from the Cap Juluca Activities Guide, so sign us up! The class was conducted at the main bar at Cip’s and was so popular, that the bar was full by the time class started. So let’s break out the cocktail shaker and get started! We’re on a mission to experience all the alcohol-related experiences which are complimentary at Cap Juluca, Anguilla. Our next stop: the wine tasting. We knew we wanted to do the rum tasting, so we booked that through the concierge, but while there, we decided we would try the wine tasting. While sitting on the beach, we texted our villa host, and within minutes, we received confirmation. We’ve stowed our carryons, hopped on our bikes, and it’s time to tour Jumby Bay Island, home to Rosewood’s Jumby Bay! Let’s head toward the Estate House, where you’ll have breakfast, catch a drink in the afternoon, and dine at the formal Italian restaurant in the evenings. The Estate House was built in 1830, and was the heart of the sugar plantation which once operated on the island. The Estate Bar is located upstairs, and is where you’ll find the weekly rum tasting (more on that later!) Stop by the early 18th century sugar mill.
