When you have traveled to a place seven times, it’s easy to get into a pattern of visiting the same places and eating at the same restaurants each trip. We do try to add a couple new places every time we visit Anguilla, and were excited to try Artisan Pizza Napoletana  in Island Harbour.

Even though we stayed on the west end, it was an easy drive out to Island Harbour. Our kids had eaten there earlier in the week when they went out to Island Harbour for a night kayaking trip with Liquid Glow. They raved about the place, so the whole family headed out a few nights later.

When you enter the restaurant, you immediately see the wood-fired oven, and are excited to sit down and check out the menu. With your drinks, you are served a jar of caramel corn which I could seriously eat all night long. There were so many options on the menu, which you can see on their Facebook page here, but don’t miss the ‘Nduja, made with a spicy, spreadable pork sausage from the Calabria Region in Italy. Take a look at those pizzas going into the oven, and just try to resist!

And if you are not up for pizza, there are a variety of pasta dishes and other specials.

It is well worth the drive, and we will be back!
