Today is the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Irma’s strike on our favorite islands. After a heavy hit by Irma, along came Hurricane Maria, adding to the destruction. I have read the accounts over the last year of the devastation, the rebuilding, and the struggles along the way. I have also read stories of the incredible strength of those affected, and the love and support of a community both in and outside the islands. Some have made an amazing recovery, and others are still making their way to recovery, but there is no dispute that the one thing that will help turn things around is tourism. Here are nine beaches to…

You won’t see any mountains or rainforest on Anguilla, as it is largely coral and limestone with limited vegetation. However, what it lacks in elevation, it makes up…

The spirit of Rosewood’s Jumby Bay, Antigua, is anything but malevolent or vindictive. The spirit of Jumby Bay is playful, joyful, and celebratory, and offers gracious hospitality to all those who come to visit. If you have read…

I’m not really a big “activity” person when it comes to vacation. As long as I have a nice beach and beautiful water to swim in, I’m pretty much set. So when I found myself looking forward to what “the Concierge recommends” in the morning “Jumby Journal,” I kind of surprised myself. We were on the island for only three days, but we were able to participate in loads of fun activities, which left us exhausted, but really happy. Here are just some…
