I love my time relaxing on the beach, but I’m always up for a little adventure, so on our January 2020 visit to Anguilla, we booked a trip with Anguilla’s Rum & Reel Charters. Anguilla’s Rum & Reel Charters offers a variety of tours, including half and full-day trips for fishing, snorkeling and sightseeing. In 1965, Eastman Kodak developed Super 8 film to improve upon the old 8mm home movie format. The film size was the same, but the Super 8 cartridges had smaller perforations allowing for a larger area for exposure and the potential for sound recording on the edge opposite the perforations. When I first heard the expression, the “Holy Trinity” of lenses, it was in reference to three Canon L prime lenses, the 35mm f/1.4, the 85mm f/1.2, and the 135mm f/2. After Googling the phrase, I see that everyone’s “Holy Trinity” is different. Some use the term to describe a series of zoom lenses, and some use it to refer to three different prime lenses. So I guess everyone has their own spin, but for me, it’s the Canon 35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.2, and 135mm f/2, and I’ve found it to be perfect for travel. Move from the “Nifty Fifty” to L Lenses What makes this the perfect threesome for…

Here’s a super quick step-by-step guide on how I shoot double exposures on film. When you think about a double exposure on film, you have to know the basics of how exposure works. When you…
