Snorkeling Trip on Bacchanal, Grenadines Sailing Escapade, Grenada

Last time we visited Grenada, we went snorkeling in the underwater sculpture garden in Grenada,  Molinere Bay Underwater Sculpture Park. It is a collection of 75 sculptures spread over 800 acres. Last time we visited, we took a dive boat with Aquanauts, sharing it with a group of divers. This time we chartered a boat, Bacchanal, one of the beautiful catamarans with Grenadines Sailing Escapade. Bacchanal is a 42-foot Fontaine Pajot Venezia Catamaran, and we had it all to ourselves! Our first stop was the park, and then we visited Flamingo Bay and Mango Bay before returning to St. George’s.

The weather was better this time, with improved visibility underwater. In addition, this time we were joined by my daughter and son-in-law. My daughter is the free diver in the family, responsible for the beautiful closeups you see below.

All in all, it was a great trip. Many thanks to the concierge for setting it up, and to Seymour at Spice Island Beach Resort for taking us to and from, and around St. George’s on the way!
