I first met Liz Pereira as a “MyIslands Legend” and merciful overlord of the MyIslands site for St. Kitts and Nevis. We were planning our November 2011 trip to Nevis, and I spent quite a bit of time on the forum gathering information about restaurants and sites to see around the island, and enjoying the trip reports of forum members. Sadly, it was not until after our return that I learned that Liz operated a tour company called “Pereira Tours,” offering tours of St. Kitts and the surrounding islands. I have had the fortune of living vicariously through the photos and stories of Liz and her happy customers shared on the Pereira Tours Facebook page. So when a friend told me she was planning a cruise which stopped in St. Kitts, it was without hesitation that I recommended Liz.
Liz is originally from Canada, and was a senior travel agent with Marlin Travel. Her father is originally from St. Kitts, and in 2008 she fulfilled her dream of moving to the island. She loves St. Kitts for its friendly people, laid back lifestyle, and breathtaking scenery, and shares that with her clients every step of the way. The company’s most popular tour is the full island tour, and the most popular excursion is the full day sail and snorkel excursion to Nevis. The trip to Nevis is the one I recommended to my friend who will be cruising that way once winter hits Wisconsin full force.
Pereira Tours focuses on small groups, so you can connect with your guide and really get to know the country and its people. One of the company’s favorite guides is Rose. Originally from England, and married to a Kittitian, she has been doing tours for many years. There is no such thing as a “drive by” tour. Rose, along with Liz’s other guides, will share their passion for the island and personalize it for you. Her guides are experienced, safe and reliable.
You don’t need to hear me talk about it. Listen to Liz’s many satisfied customers who share their experiences on Pereira Tours’ Facebook page, including the gang at Team Cocktail!
